Museum Place

Mixed-Use, San Jose, CA

Museum Place was acquired through a competitive bidding and proposal process by the City of San Jose to redevelop Parkside Hall, a city-owned property directly adjacent to The Tech Museum of Innovation. The proposal for a mixed-use tower provided for a 60,000 square foot expansion for The Tech Museum’s exhibition space, 165,000 square feet of “large floorplate” technology office space, a 155 key Luxury Kimpton Hotel, and 300 luxury apartments. Museum Place also activated a newly created paseo with Kimpton restaurants and retail opportunities, and a valet and shared parking program consisting of over 650 stalls to service all uses 24/7/365.

Upon the approval of Museum Place, we received an offer to purchase from a large investment fund, which was ultimately accepted.
